ABOUT THE SHOW

The Dracula Experience returns to George C. Marshall’s Dodona Manor… bigger, bloodier, and more immersive than ever before!

Inspired by Bram Stoker’s legendary gothic novel, Dracula’s Midnight Masquerade invites guests to venture across the shadowed grounds of Dodona Manor, where the Count and his followers have gathered for a sinister celebration. Audiences will move freely through candlelit gardens and eerie encounters, meeting familiar figures and dangerous new characters as stories of obsession, seduction, and the supernatural unfold around them.

This newly expanded production features new scenes, characters, interactions, and optional add-on experiences, transforming the historic property into a living nightmare populated by Dracula, his brides, and the unfortunate souls drawn into their world. Blending live theatre and music, environmental storytelling, and horror elements, the experience allows guests to choose where they wander, whom they follow, and how deeply they enter the darkness.

THE CRIMSON CURSE — VIP EXPERIENCE

Ages 21+ only.

Enhance your evening with The Crimson Curse, an exclusive pre-show and post-show addition to Dracula’s Midnight Masquerade.

VIP guests will descend into the historic cellar 15 minutes before the show for an intimate theatrical scene hidden from the general audience, accompanied by a blood bag cocktail. Following the main performance, they will join a guided vampire walking tour through the darkened streets of downtown Leesburg, exploring local history, folklore, and tales of the undead.

The Crimson Curse includes:

  • An exclusive pre-show cellar scene

  • One blood bag cocktail

  • Admission to Dracula’s Midnight Masquerade

  • A post-show vampire walking tour of downtown Leesburg

Capacity for The Crimson Curse is extremely limited to 13 guests per show, advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended.

VAMPIRE WALKING TOUR ADD-ON

General Admission guests may also add the post-show vampire walking tour of downtown Leesburg to their tickets, subject to availability.

Please note that the exclusive cellar scene and blood bag cocktail are available only through The Crimson Curse VIP experience. Themed drinks and snacks will be available for purchase through a cash bar.

AUDIENCE INFORMATION

Dracula’s Midnight Masquerade is an outdoor, site-specific immersive production staged throughout the historic grounds of Dodona Manor. Guests should expect to stand, walk, navigate stairs, and explore portions of the property as the story unfolds around them.

The experience contains darkness, theatrical fog, flashing or strobing lights, sudden noises, depictions of blood and violence, supernatural themes, and scenes of horror. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking outdoors after dark.

Step onto the grounds of one of Leesburg’s most treasured historic landmarks at George C. Marshall's Dodona Manor. Originally constructed in the early 1800s, this elegant Federal-style manor became the beloved home of General George C. Marshall and his wife Katherine from 1941 until 1959. It was here that Marshall, one of the most influential figures of the twentieth century, reflected on world affairs after leading the Allied victory in World War II, serving as Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense, and developing the Marshall Plan, a landmark effort that helped rebuild Europe after the war and earned him the Nobel Peace Prize.

Today, the beautifully preserved house and gardens stand as a National Historic Landmark, offering visitors a rare connection to both Loudoun County history and world history.
